I had tried it once and it came out absolutely yum! For some vague reason I was yearning for this today, and when I found the Mochai (field beans or val) in my vegetable store, simply jumped and bought the whole lot!...

Book Review/Ranting: 'Dork' By Sidin Vadukut
Well, I am a huge supporter of Indian authors! Ever since I discovered what charms Chetan Bhagat had, I have always made it a point to pick a few Indian fiction every now and then! But now, I am skeptical!
The first bitter fruit came in the form of Trust Me: A Romantic Comedy Set In Bollywood by Rajashree. Well it was a chick flick alright and fairly entertaining, and was ok considering it was...

Raavanan - review
Raavanan, the latest feather in mani’s cap left me breathless. In a word, the movie was “art”. Mani should be one lucky man! check out the making videos here»>. His team has shown as much passion for this project as him. Be it the amazing camerawork or santhosh sivan and Manikandan, or the costumes by sabyasachi that flow with the movie, or the art direction by Samir...

Venting Out!
I like to talk! Hell I love to talk. I need to talk sometimes. for hours about something that is on my mind! My clock reads 12:43 AM and I needed to vent out! At least, to myself! I hate it when there is noone to talk to. And today I am going through one of those days! My other half came home tired and worn out and hit the bed straight. Not blaming him at all!
I feel depressed today, and for no...

Only 1411 tigers left! What a shame...
Honestly! I don’t know what it is with the Indian government! I can’t understand why they call certain things “National” and still take absolutely no care of it! Take Hockey, our national game for example! The sport is in shambles, thanks to the step motherly treatment given to it by our govt who would rather praise showers on our cricket team! Next in line is our national...

What make humans think they own the world?
A few questions that has been itching the back of my mind for quite a while!
What make humans think they own the world?
What makes them feel they are the supreme beings and can do whatever they want with all other species of the world?
Who gives them the right to kill away innocent dolphins in Faroe islands?
Who lets them hunt down tigers to leave just 1411 alive in India?
Why don’t they feel...

Just something I wrote for something 2 years back,...
You just have to turn 20 in this country and everyone starts asking you “so when are you getting married”.. Family functions and cousin’s marriages are no fun anymore… You get phone calls on a daily basis about this prospective guy who has just flown down from America… It suddenly looks like everyone around except you are silently planning your marriage… The arranged marriage is quite a long...

Tofu Scramble!!
Well! Tofu Scramble is an unbelievably simple to make recipe, full of protein. A while back, I had bloated up quite a bit and was on a super strict diet. My dietician introduced me to Tofu! It is a high protein ingredient, which is nothing but panneer made from soya, which supports you quite a bit in losing those extra calories. I got so addicted to this dish, that even after losing some 10 Kgs, I...
